The Madness

 The madness

seeing flashbacks from horror movies I've lived

scared to face the day-but I gotta

feels like I'm losing my mind, going insane

post-traumatic trauma from all we've endured

shorty Red chasing me thru the bush and blocks

where's the door, so many?

what's the one to freedom?

Out of the slums, ghettos, and prison houses

the holes and graves

Freedom from these nightmares and cold stares of enemies

and treachery from he that is against me

Can't tell friends from fakes

How can I move from death to life again?

How long must I wait in this strange land of make believe, that they call living?

I know there's more to life than this.

Here We Go!

I walked in cities among the desolate

down dark streets

and lonely places

came face to face with the devil

lurking in the darkness

broke bread with Lions and heard the growl of the Beast

in these mean streets

Truly, I wonder how I keep from going under!

All these bitches and thieves,

liars, pushers and  users

The hurt and the pain, the heartaches and tears

The funerals and the weeping

police beatings

The schools, the jails and minimum wages

Make's me wanna holla,  like Marvin said

motherfucker, this shit ain't in my head

maybe you haven't counted up all the bodies dead

Broken lives and shattered souls

in these dark streets and places of violence

Seems the light can't cut thru these mean clouds

curses rain down on my head!

I've walked in cities among the desolate

down dark streets

and lonely places

looked into the faces and eyes of His lost sheep

broke bread with the hopeless,

clothed the homeless,

became a blessing to the weak

I preached to the prisoners and vexed the enemies

I've walked in cities among the desolate

and scaled the walls of the mighty and broke down their defenses

shook-em up like Ali in the ring

and moved them like Christ the King-

The hope of Israel

Sabbath with Zarach podcast for today's Israelite community. New broadcast:

The Hope of Israel: Baruch 4:16-18 (podbean.com)

The scriptures unlocks the mysteries of God. The more we read the deeper our faith  gets.

When we stop and listen with our third eye, the conundrum of today's confusions are unraveled.

The word is for day and night readings and meditations.

Through the word we grow stronger- we just got to put the work in.

Post-Covid

There is a time for all things

A time to be born

And a time to die

A time to stop sleeping

And a time to wake up

A time of deception and falsehood

And a time to expose the lie and wipe away the elusion

A time to just believe

And a time to seek out the truth for yourself,

to leave the darkness behind

A time for speeches

and a time not to listen to empty talk

but to rise and live according to the truth

A time for experimentation

And a time to stop being experimented on

A time to be locked away in quarantines

And a time to be free!

2 Thess. 2:9,10,11

Exodus-DMX

 Exodus May 2021 DMX

Exodus the album is a mature spiritual journey as told through the poetry of Hip-Hop, an original Black Hebrew art form, interwoven with word-play and innovative music arrangements. This album explores the spiritual experience of the Hebrew people here in America and worldwide, from the graphic stories of ghetto life, to the intimate interactions between brothers, fathers and sons, to the romantic Solomonic escapades  between lovers that's free of restraint and that is felt by a truly free people or a couple experiencing freedom and healing in each others embrace as God intended it to be.

The album digs deep into the loneliness of one's spiritual odyssey that at times is full of opposites, like rain then the sunshine, like pain then the joy, or laughter and tears, of missed opportunity and the hope that it's not too late. Yet, despite this loneliness, it encourages us not to cling to the worldly interpretation of joy by chasing after money, bitches, and the preservation of self through betrayal and lies. Instead, the album urges unity like that seen in the love between a man and his woman, where they continually hold each others down, even when it rains in their lives. Or the wholeness that comes with the joy of hearing your child's voice, as if you were hearing and seeing the next generation of beautiful people, who will be sincere in their love for each others and the people.

There is a message between the lyrics and the lines over the beats in this album, which is an enduring trait of "DMX" Earl Simmons's music. But to hear it you have to listen-and that carefully, because the message is very subtle and not easily heard. However, DMX clearly states his message by ending Exodus with a prayer.

I believe he was trying to tell us, the current and next generation of believers, to seek out the deeper things in this life till we find God for ourselves and not to be deceived by this current evil world( Gal. 1:3,4). DMX left us a masterpiece and a roadmap. The question is, will we follow?
