Sorrows and Comfort

Greetings, Brothers and Sister, I pray all is well with you and that God's light is shining on you. I have more I would like to share with you regarding how we should engage this current world system. However, I felt is was necessary to pause and share a few words of comfort to the mothers and fathers of Oscar Grant, Darius Simmons, Trayvon Martin, Malcolm Shabazz, and the many other young black males who were murdered because they were black or for the hope they might bring to their people. Also, for the poor people around the world who are eaten up like bread and crushed by this Beast system in all it's various forms of oppression and death that it utilizes.
We understand that God will avenge all evil done on earth-for he said, " I will reward every man according to his works" ( Matt. 16:27). One must reap what he has sown ( Gal. 6:7).  However, until that appointed time comes God urges us in our times of despair and hurt to turn to him in prayer, because he cares for us in all our suffering ( 1 Peter 5:7).
God's love and care for us is illustrated most vividly when Hezekiah, the king of Judah, in his sickness and grief turned to God in prayer for help. Did not God Hear in heaven and caused the prophet to say, "Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee..."( 2 Kings 20:1-5)? Yes, He did hear.
In this day and age he still hears sending comfort and hope through his Son: Jesus Christ. John the Baptist questioned whether this was true or not and if they should look for another Messiah. Jesus replied, "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached"  (Luke 7:19,22). Thus, Jesus established his identity by the power given him of God and the love he had towards those in need. Today, God commands his teachers and prophets to follow Christ's example and comfort the people through the gospel: declaring that their warfare is done in Christ, because through him we have received forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God ( Is. 40:1-2, Romans 5:8-10). When tragedy strikes we can remember this (that our warfare or separation from God is over) and know that he will restore our souls; leading us into the paths of righteousness for his name sake in Christ (Psalm 23:3).
The senseless murder of one's child, as the parents of the young men listed above experienced, would qualify as one of the darkest moments in a persons life. These moments can intensify with the constant memory and horror of the event, which can cause the soul to bow down or fall into deep depression. But the holy Bible tells us  we can have Hope by recalling this one thing to our minds again and again, "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion fail not" (Lam. 3:21-22).
Jesus said, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" ( Matt. 5:4). The scriptures tells us that this comfort will come from Jesus himself: ..."For the Lam(Jesus) which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes" (Rev. 7:17).
To those who are suffering today hear the voice of comfort, as it echoes through the ages to meet our needs now and forevermore: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me" (John 14:1). Peace I leave you with, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" ( John 14:27). Depression and sorrows can make the mind unstable causing us to give up, but if we put our faith in God by Christ we can overcome; because he is the God of comfort, which is, and which was, and which is to come ( 2 Cor. 1:3-4).
May this sacrifice of praise lift up your spirit and give you hope:

A Prayer of Help:
Psalm 79:9-13

God will give us justice and comfort- and we will walk in thy law, oh God, even in our afflictions we will not forget thy Word, it "is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path" (Psalm 119:105). And we know that we have won the victory over death and now have a sure hope in the day of Resurrection by Christ the Lord ( Isaiah 25:8)
Amen

Shalam,
May God keep you and Bless you till we meet again,

Zarach

Trust In God

Shalam, Brothers and Sisters
I pray that you are continuing to draw closer to God, increasing in faith, in the midst of  spiritually dark places in this world. For it is our Faith/ trust in God through Jesus Christ that will cause us to abide. This trust will allow us to understand the reality around us from a spiritual perspective. Then will we come to the realization that we fight not against flesh and blood (humanity), but against the principalities of the prince of darkness, against powers, the rulers of evil of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places ( Eph. 6:12). Finally, we will come to know and appreciate that the weapons of our warfare are not man-made or carnal, but are mighty through God for the intention of destroying strong holds, which hold the minds and souls of our fellow man  captive by sin ( 2 Cor. 10:4). Thus, obtaining the victory.
However, our victory will come through our obedience to the word of God. It will not come about by trusting in world leaders, global governments, politicians-neither white, black, specific social classes, or ethnic groups. It will not come even by following an African President. We must look to a higher power: God the Father (Ps. 20:7-9). God commands us to not place our hope in man (Is. 2:22).

H. Rap Brown, speaking on the T.V. show Like it is, in the 1970's , exposed the corruptions and evil in the world both then and now-regardless of the race or social class of our politicians.

At the time of the airing of this show, H Rap Brown eloquently expressed the conditions of the oppressed and the futility of putting one's hope in the system of the oppressor. However, we, as followers of Jesus Christ, must interpret this from a spiritual view point. First, we must understand that all government, good and bad, are established by God  for his purpose(Dan. 2:20-21). Second, we have a responsibility to expose evil to help free others from it's hold and abstain from it ( Eph. 5:11). Third, we are to submit to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake-whether they be kings, governors, or presidents. We should  abstain from all evil-murder, robbery, rape, and open rebellion ( 1 Peter 2:13-15). We should strive to do good in the midst of evil-help the poor and oppressed, heal the sick, fight to free those unjustly imprisoned, strengthen the weak, and preach the Gospel  ( Romans 12:21). Fourth, we know that true revolution is the transformation of our minds from evil to that which is holy and true by the word of God (Romans 12:2, Eph. 4:22-23). Finally, concerning redemption and salvation the scripture is clear, they come only by the hand of Jesus Christ ( Acts 3:19-22, 1 Cor. 15:24-25). African-Americans, Native Indians, Hispanics, and West Indians will partake of this deliverance when they return to their God as their true identity-the children of Israel, by their savior Christ the Lord ( Acts 5:29-31, Deut. 30:1-3 ). Those who stand with us, from among the nations, in faith, according to the truth of the gospel, are blessed and are fellow citizens with us in New Jerusalem-for there is no partiality with God: he that doeth righteousness is acceptable with him (Acts 10:34-35). The apostle Paul states that, "...therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith  to faith: as it is written the just shall live by faith." (Romans 1:16-17).
The true revolution then is the rebirth of the Israel of God (Gal. 6:15-16) and their departure form Babylon the great and all her sins (Revelation 18:4-5).

Shalam,

May God bless you and keep you till we meet again,

Zarach

A Prayer for Trayvon Martin

My heart is broken to hear such news
Oh, God , how Long must we wait,
When will you avenge our Blood?
Tears Run-on-Down thru the faces of the mothers of Zion
Today Trayvon, yesterday our Fathers, Brothers, and Others
Tomorrow more sorrows for the Daughters of Jerusalem
How can one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight,
Unless their God has left them? ( Deut.32:30)
From the top of the Pyramids, I see him
coming in ships on the Great Ocean to conquer this New World
I see him,
In the air, in his Iron birds-so thick, the rays of the sun cannot shine thru;
Dark days ahead
My heart is broken to hear such news
Why must the Wasicu win, Lord?
Till I make the cities a desolation and the inhabitants upon the earth Few...(Isaiah 6:11)
In your patience possess ye your souls (Luke 21:19)
His foot shall slip in due time and the proud look of the arrogant shall cease...(Deut. 32:35, Is. 13:11)
In all their hurt, am I hurt , and I will avenge me of my enemies...( Is. 63:9, Deut.32:41-43)
Thus saith the Lord

Hosea 13:9-10: brothers and sisters, we must face Reality and Return. Yet, If we are to return, then let us return to our True help: The Lord. Come and let us go unto the God of Jacob  through the door of the Sheep: Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords... Amen

Shalam,
May God keep you and bless you, till we meet again
