We, this generation of the righteous,
are apart of the saga called the Bible. From Adam to Noah, from
Abraham to the majestic entry into the promised land. From the rise
of the Davidic kingdom and the fall at the Ishtar gates of Babylon,
as the captive Jews marched in the king's victory procession. From
Zerubbabel and Ezra, and Nehemiah to Judas Maccabeus and his band of
brothers. And from the great day God made, starting with the birth of
the great king: Christ the Lord, to the day Christ was taken to the
cross, only to rise three days latter like he said. We are apart of
it all, even from the going forth of the apostles and the planting of
the churches throughout Asia, Africa, and Europe. Yes, we are apart of it
all.
The lions, the dungeons, the war
parties sent out to stop this great movement could not halt or
prevent it. The followers of Christ were here to stay. We rose up in
the kingdoms of the world as princes, scholars, leaders, and famous
men of the ages. We built kingdoms in Africa, and laid the
foundations in Spain for a Renascence. Throughout Europe the sons of
Jacob and those with them did wonders. Even at the fall of
Christendom throughout all our lands, unto the fall of Constantinople
and after, we were there.
They sent us out in chains from Africa,
and in Spain they gave us an ultimatum- “be our slaves or get out.”
They hunted us everywhere we went for refuge. This happened as the
scriptures said it would- because of excesses and pride coupled with
a disregard for the things of God; He cast us into another land.
So, the saga continued, starting afresh
on the shores of America. God allowed our enemies to change our
names, to take away our language, to remove the memory of Him from
our minds. Yet, God is merciful to our unfaithfulness in that while
we were yet sinners, 2,000 years earlier He sent His Son to redeem
us. To free us from the worse captivity in human history. He redeemed
us from the grave of our darkness, saying, “ and you shall know
that I am the Lord, your God, when I turn your captivity before the
eyes of all the earth, and restore you to your own land (Ezek.
37:13,14, Zeph.3: 19,20).”
It would start with the preaching of the
everlasting gospel; the call of return and repentance (1Cor. 1:21,18,
Rev. 14:6,7). The call to a Bible base religion, one in which the
words of God are respected and honored. A religion able to teach men
faith in the only God there ever was and in the only savior we have
ever known: Christ the Lord.
And from the preaching of this gospel,
we would begin to grow, to be set in order before the eyes of all
nations, and governments, and kingdoms. We who believe would begin to
rise again as in the days of old. We would begin to take form like a
body coming together; bone to his bone, joint to joint, forming legs,
torso, arms, hands, neck and head, all covered in skin, with muscles
and veins. And finally, upon this body would come the anointing of
God's Holy Spirit to bring eternal life into it.
In that day we will stand upon our feet
and breathe the air of God and be strengthen. And taking those first
steps, first like a baby stumbling here and there, then suddenly
moving like a champion sprinter bolting towards the gates of Zion to
inherit the promise given, with Christ at our head, moving in
formation as the birds of heaven flying to their destination.
Therefore, all that came before us, the
saints of yesterday, are not perfected until we finish this part of
the book called the Bible (Heb. 11:39,40). Thus, completing the
prophecy written which they preached to all the world, saying, “this
is the Truth, walk ye in it, until he comes again (Is. 30:20,21, 1John
5:20, Titus 2:11,12,13,14).”
John 14:6... “ Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.”
