A Soldier's Pray

Heavenly Father
I come before you
and humbly ask
that you would grant me
the power to never
choose this world over you
cause me to overcome
when I am tested
may I hold to the faith
you have taught me
from my youth
Amen.

Shalam,
Zarach

An Israelite Resurrection

I sat alone

tears ran down my face

when I consider

the pain of my mother

and sisters

when I heard the cries

of the little ones

When I saw the cruel death

of the strong ones

I too cried

when I saw the Temple

burned and grown over with weeds

none come to her Sabbaths

none say come

Let us go up to Zion

and worship God

Let us hear the praise

and music of the Lord

Why? Lord

why have you let the enemy

Do our lives like this?

What about pity?

What about tender mercies?

Didn't you swear to be our God

for eternity?

You knew I was but flesh,

and not a god.

I bleed, I feel pain

and I make errors

Who among the son's of Adam

have not sinned before you?

None-we are all guilty before you

Mercy, O God, Mercy

Return the years the Locus has eaten

Bring again the captives

of Judah and Israel

and forgive our sins

Resurrect us

from the dead

by your power

that men may know

that you alone art God

that your word is truth

Open my eyes

that I may see

your great light

cause the spirit of life

to flow through my veins again

Let the drumbeat in my chest

sound again

cause me to sit-up and speak

before the world and all nations

that they may confess

that this is the Truth

the way men should follow

at the resurrection of your people Israel

by your mighty arm and powerful hands

Shalam,

Zarach

One Day & Forever in Jerusalem

O, Cause me to stand

on that day

that I may behold

the New World

which was to come

that You have made

Cause me to see

the sun forever

let me breathe

the new breeze

that you bring

Cause me to walk

on the New Earth

and behold the New Heavens

where possibilities are endless with You

Multitudes, upon Multitudes

in the streets of

New Jerusalem

Men and Women of Faith

who Believed

in what You said

Here we are, O God

to worship

before Your Throne

Shalam,

Zarach

This Gospel

Drop the word of Truth

like Lauren Hill unplugged

Hitting harder than slugs

Against the enemy of our souls

Like Ali in the battle of his life

This wisdom

is softer than the wings of a Butterfly

and deadlier that the sting of a Hornet

Like bitter herbs at Passover

Yet, sweeter than honey

These words flowing through my head

coming to reality

before my eyes

on the lines of this scroll

Given by the hand of God

Written within and without

with Lamentations, and mourning, and woe (Ezekiel. 2:9,10)

Yet, full of the Hope of salvation

for those that Believe

Shalam,

Zarach

Ode To Wisdom

I don't want to wait

any longer for your Love

How long

must we be apart

So far away

Oceans between us

Distance like Heaven from Earth

I've been waiting

all these long years

They say it's not in vain

hold on, Abide

you will be with your bride

Just over the Horizon

She comes with the light of the sun

under her wings

Shine in my darkness

My darling

like the midnight moon

or the sun on the sands by the seashore

Oh, Come and Change me

My heart is open

come

take sweet counsel with me

that I may see

all that the Most High

has prepared for you and me

Let me not wait

any longer

I look for your Love

Shalam,

Zarach

I'm Missing You

How do I feel right now?
It's not loneliness
nor sadness
More at emptiness
like something isn't there
anymore

Life is going forward
all around me and in me
I hear the voices of people
I see their smiles
I sit with them
I eat with them
Yet, I'm Missing You

I miss your voice
your unique voice
the sound of your precious words
their emphasis and pauses
when you speak to me
or
when I hear you speak to another

The sound of your laughter and joy
rich and full
are like an old movie
that stirs up fond memories
of years gone by
triggered when that one scene flashes
Like the two friends talking
in Central Park by the pond
or the victorious warrior
raising his sword high
or the father who just now
realizes how much
he loves his wife and children God gave him
he smiles and laugh with great joy

I look forward once again
to sit at your table (John 21:12,13)
to sit across from you
and talk
like we use to
face to face
then was my joy full

We ate together( Matt. 26:29,30)
and enjoyed a good meal
and drank the best wine
and Wisdom played her music
in the background (Rev. 3:20, 21,22)

Yeah, I'm missing you;
can't wait to get back home

Shalam,

Zarach

At Midnight

Let my body rest

and Let my mind

climb upwards

where God is

in the deepness and vastness

of the universe

where the voice of the Divine

may be heard

that I may hear your words, O God

then will I be refreshed

and strengthened to meet

the new day

with all it's

labors, troubles, trials,

joys, wonders, and goodness

nothing shall move me

nor cause me to forget your words

for they are always in my mind

and you by my side

my great God

Zarach

Message to the Black People of the Americas and Abroad

Brothers and Sisters

Old and young alike

to the saints and those among them

We, you and me, must

come to the Realization

of Who We Are

First, what we are not-

We are not: Black people,

that is what they called us

not what God called us

We are not: The names they called

their conquered lands ( e.g. Africa, America,

Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Belize, Honduras,

Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas, Dominica etc..)

We are not: Each others enemies

We are not: The slaves and Fools they say or

what we say to ourselves

We are not: A people with no heart or love

for oneanother

BUT We Are: A nation in exile

In exile not just from a distant land

But in exile from a God who is nearer

than we believe, who desires to recover

what's been gone for so long

We are: A people who have been chosen

to preform one of the greatest

last acts of this age

We are: Destine to remove the wicked and the evil

from the earth, to establish a Holy Kingdom on Earth

We are: The sons and daughters of the Holy God: Yahawah

and brothers and sisters of the Prince of the kings of the earth: Christ the Lord

Yet, if we deny who we are

we exclude ourselves from this Hope

we exclude ourselves from being a part of the greatest epic

in human history- the rebirth of the Nation of Israel in Christ

Understand, however, if we deny God due to our disbelief

It will not stop the prophecy

God cannot deny Himself (2 Tim. 2:13)

Who then will stand up for God? (Ps. 94:16)

Who among you will take hold of this and believe? (Rom. 10:16)

Who will hear for the times to come? (Is. 42:23)

I pray it will be you and me, brothers and sisters; standing before Him

as he enters the atmosphere with the clouds of heaven and his millions upon millions of angels.

Rev. 1:7, Jude 1:14,15

Zarach

An Excellent Spirit

The man of God

is of an excellent spirit (Prov. 17:27)

and his continence doeth show

a continual feast and joy

with a pleasant and calm look (Eccl. 8:1)

for the wisdom, hope, faith, and love

of God

shines in his mind everyday & every night (2 Cor. 4:6)

the words he speaks

are forever pleasing, full of grace,

and seasoned with salt ( Col. 4:5,6)

able to edify (Rom. 15:2, Rom. 14:19)

Let the peace of God reign in your hearts:

Col. 3:14,15,16,17

1 Pet. 3:8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15

Shalam

Zarach

Firstfruits: Pentecost

It is you Lord that enrich all our labors

with a bountiful Harvest

You who make all things possible

For all is yours

the fullness of the earth and everything in it

By you

We are able to rise and praise you

to read your holy Bible

and understand that which is written

For all this is done

by the Love, tender Mercies

and Abiding Faith

of your son, Christ the Beloved

Ps. 24: 1,2

Ps.29:1,2

Amen

Shalam

Zarach

The Old man meets the New man

The old man

shall not have any more power

over you

for Now is the time of the New Man

who lives according to the

Incorruptible seed

of God

that has been planted in the heart

by His holy word

and not according to the

former seed

Which is corrupt

according to the deceitful lust of sin & death( 1 Pet.1:23)

“Oh, rejoice, for this is the day which the Lord

has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Ps.118:24)”

“ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice (Phil. 4:4)”

Shalam

Zarach

Good Morning

Good morning sunshine

Good morning summer breeze

and birds and trees

Good morning air we breathe

Good morning seas and rivers

Good morning to all God's Peoples

Worldwide

This I say, yet not I, but the Lord,

“...Now it is high time to awake out of sleep:

for now is our salvation nearer than when we

believed(Rom. 13:11)”

Eph. 5:14

Guide Me

Guide me
by your Holy Spirit
May I be conscious
Of what I say
that I may not lead your
Sheep astray
O God
For it is not by our wisdom
or might that we will
come to your holy day
at the Revelation of Jesus the Christ
But it is by Your Spirit
that guides us, and teaches us
what we should say and do( Luke 21:14,15)
Oh, let my spirit & soul
be moved by your presence
that I may speak truth
let not any lie
or evil communication( Eph. 4:29,30)
come from my lips
So will I be
a true Disciple
and the fruit that I bring
to your banqueting Table
will be acceptable( John 15:8)

You are my teacher, O God, so teach me
O Lord, and I shall increase in learning ( Ps.119:33,34,35)

Shalam
Zarach

Prayer

Lord, please don't let sin

have dominion over me,

So that I am forsaken

of all those around me

Like a dead man that is forgotten

Lord, remember Israel

For this pain is Real...

As cold as winter

and lonely as Darkness

O, Let your sun rise upon me

And the light of your promise

Renew Me

Send your Holy Spirit

that I may Live again

Remember mercy in the time

of your wrath

and compassion on your judgment day

For I am but a man

made of ashes and dust

How can I be changed

if you change me not?

O Lord, Remember

I am your creation

Forgive, Show Mercy, Have Compassion

and reach down and lift me up

and fulfill your great Word

Amen

Shalam,

Zarach

His holy Name

Must I prove it to you

Maybe

For seeing is believing

to some people

“But Blessed are those

who Believe and have not seen, yet”

says, Christ the beloved (John 20:28,29)

Shout his Holy Name to the highest, Yah (Ps. 68:4)

Shalam,

Zarach

This Time

I wont let anything

upset the way I feel

Right Now

The only Reality

I want is You

God's Reality

Let nothing

Interfere with this feeling

For this is Real

I've traveled their paths

of synthetic dreams

and fantasy driven

altered realities

Only to end-up

Worse than I started

But your promises, O God

Are so Real

Comforting my soul

like the morning sunrise

or Autumn breeze and colorful leaves

like snow caped mountains

with clouds and blue skies

or Like the beautiful smiles

and sweet songs and sounds

at the Passover Feast

Dad at the piano, Bother on the guitar

Sister singing, Mom humming

little brother and sister waiting

for sweet bread out of the oven

Music all around

On Your great Feast Day, O Emmanuel

Let the noise of Babylon cease

Today and everyday

close that door and open the next, O Lord

and Let joy and gladness come in

for the time of Your

Redeemed has Come

Ps. 30:4,5

Shalam,

Zarach
