I stood
before the hordes;
multitudes, multitudes
in the valley of decision
their noise was as the roar
of the waves of the sea
or an horrible tempest
Yet, my heart did not quake
at their noise
For this one thing stayed with me:
It is God that helps Israel;
God who will never leave us
nor forsake us.
