The Great Debaters

The 2007 movie the Great Debaters staring and directed by Denzel Washington is a model of revolutionary teachers and liberators of the minds of black people. It shows teachers and educators in love with their passion to educate, inspire, motivate, and lift up a whole new generation of thinkers, leaders, and contributors to the Black community and society at large. They did this by diligent study coupled with community engagement and a fearlessness in the demonstration of their learning, convictions, and vision of a better world in the face of challenges and injustice. And by their instructions and examples they helped produce students that were world changers with  ability to overturn systems of oppression and  tare down barriers that held generations of their people  as second class citizens. They help building a new society of confident Black people.

This change was produced by teachers, men and women, who believed in what they taught, what they studied, and from what they and their ancestors experienced.  They believed and taught their students that to live your passion or calling for your people and the needs of the times is the seed of greatness. And that seed when combined with the pure water of true knowledge germinates into a mighty tree where all God's creatures have a place of shelter and nourishment.

Say it loud

" It makes me want to holla, the way they do my life"

-Marvin Gaye

1492 never ended! We've allowed ourselves to deny reality. Turning towards the internet,

mass-media, binging on a lot of things other than  the reality of this evil world.

We've allowed ourselves to be tricked into individualism-away in our own little world.

But, if you're an Israelite, whether you know it or not, reality reminds you every now and then

where you are. You're in America. In the world created by the devil. A world build on war, slavery, deception, oppression, murder, and mass delusions.

But, when reality hits, that's when you realize that 1492 never ended. You understand then that your times are the continuation of the horrors of the past. You are the continuation of the generations of your ancestors, who cried out on the slave-ships, on the mountains of Peru, in the rainforest and cities of the Aztecs, on the plains of North America, in the vast wilderness of Canada, and on the shores and along the Niger river in Africa, saying, "God, look how they do my life!!!" And that's when you realize that you have to wake up and do something to change the times.

"Lord, in the time of wrath, remember mercy."

Hab. 3:2

We must wake up to the truth and stay awake. We must return to our God and forsake the gods of this evil world.  When we return to our God is the time that 1492 will end and this  daughter of Babylon shall be judged for all her crimes against us and the earth.

Ps. 102:13

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come.”

Faith Versus Fear

A wise woman once said," I chose a long time ago to live by faith, not fears."

These are powerful words that can alter our perspective and life journey, if we take time to meditate on them. If we reflect deeply on this statement, we would discover the power that is locked in it. It has the ability to cause those that embrace it to face mountains and climb any hill that would prevent their destiny. It empowers the believer of these words to undertake any journey that would bring him to the city destine to be his no matter the difficulties, or the harsh words of his detractors that say, "its' impossible, what you intend to build will not stand, nor withstand the slightest blow thrown at it."  "You people are always in rebellion, what do you want now!"

Fear can't enter a heart of faith. It has no power over the drive, the capacity, the force, and the relentlessness of the believer. They confront fear with boldness and say, " This is my journey and my work from my God, what have you to do in this matter?" " My mind and spirit will not be intimidated, nor will your words cause me stop my work." " If I fall, if poverty takes hold on me, if I am cast out of the country and have to run for my life, I will not give up my hope- I will wait for it!" These people know that faith can moves mountains and uproots giant trees placing them in the oceans, to sink into the abyss.

Faith can not be conquered. Great nations and mighty armies have fallen before faith. It has drowned proud soldiers, who pursued after the poor, rich in faith,  at the bottom of the sea. Faith upheld the dignity of a young man falsely imprisoned and made him to stand before kings as a healer and a leader. It does not count the number of the war-machines and the multitudes of the enemy, but courageously stands before all the people and say, " this is our time, our opportunity to demonstrate our conviction and unwavering confidence in our triumph to future generations. It is written, that we win!"

Not even the horror of the death was able the keep captive the author of this faith in the grave- Christ. He endured the struggle, accepted the pain, and never doubted once that his Father would rise him up again. Some had counseled him not to accept the humiliation and the torture. They offered to take up arms and face an empire for him. But, faith is fearless before all things, even death. He knew that faith can not die. It rises again. It gets back up after the fall. It  lives for eternity and produces greatness in all those that choose to live by faith and not fears.

Freedom is not lawlessness

True freedom isn't the open disregard to any law but your own. It is not to do as you wish. But to live within boundaries. This is a foreign concept to those who believe they are upholding American democracy or attend Sunday morning church in America. To them democracy means I rule, I do what I want, the US Capitol and the government of the United States belong to me and no one can challenge that, not even elected officials. This is the ignorant and immature mentality of  white supremacist and the gullible Sunday Christians who follow them and who believe that because Jesus died they are free from law- man's or God's.

They are guilty of much evil in both in America and around the globe because of this mindset. The sovereignty of nations and the humanity of individuals has long been disregarded by these patriots and good Christians.  They believe that they will never be punished for their sins once they say the pray asking Jesus to come into their hearts before people, and pretend to believe it before men. Hence, the multitude of crimes they and their ancestors have committed against other Christians and the peoples of the earth is long and well documented. It is a fact that can not be hid forever or denied.

Both are ignorant or refuse to understand, that a society without law will soon fall into deep  chaos. The book of Romans, first chapter explains this type of spiraling out of control that happens when a people disregard the only true law- the law of God. Humanity becomes barbaric, destructive, murderous, and lawless. They eventually consume themselves with war and slaughter, under totalitarian rule bent on gain and power for its own desires.

In this type of society men run and hide, the people mourn, and none is safe. Those in power, the wicked, kill the poor and hunt the fatherless. They are against any and all who dare challenge them, whether or not their skin is so-called black or so-called white- no one is safe.

Christ prophesied that the end of civilization would come with such a people; of whom Daniel foretold would establish the abomination that brings the final destruction. This final society would usher in a time like no other time, with such devastation that if left alone it would destroy all humanity. This is the path of America and Europe, who make up the fourth Beast or kingdom that was prophesied to  rule the earth till end of civilization. But, praise be to the God of Israel, for He has said that He would cut their time short and end their wicked society and the slaughter they bring. He would personally come to the earth to make war on these barbaric children of the devil in the person of Jesus Christ. And with war and judgement will He plead with all the wicked of the earth. None will escape His fierce anger and righteous judgement. The lawless and lawlessness will be judged by the law of God, by his holy word, which will out-live America and all the wicked of the earth- Amen.

Now is the time for all who truly seek God, and desire to be under His law, to take up his covenants with the spirit of obedience and live a godly life according to the truth. It is time that we stop letting evil men, with their lies and promises of pleasures and riches at the expense of everyone else, fool us into following them down this path of destruction. We, the children of Israel and all those of the nations who love Israel, must return to the God of Israel and forsake the religion of this Beast. This is the only hope we have as we go forward.

When we see Babylon Falling

We are entering a time of birth pangs in the world, and especially in America. These birth pangs are expected and will only grow worst as we draw closer to the end. Unrest, political upheavals, and economic collapse are inevitable.

But we, the Remnant of Israel, who are returning to the truth of who we are and back to our God and messiah, Yahawahshi, should not fear. Christ told us that these things would come to past in the fourth Beast or the fourth Kingdom of the gentiles( Edom Rome/America & Europe). He told us to look up when you see these things coming to past, because our salvation and redemption is getting closer- Amen.

Therefore, be strong Israel, endure to the end. And like the generations before us, let us stand in the whole amour of God, clothed in faith, righteousness, holiness, and the power of the Holy Spirit- for he that endures to the end, shall be saved.

Even so, come Lord, Yahawahshi.

The Autobiography of W.E.B. Du Bois

The Autobiography of Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois published in 1968, is a prophetic insight into our current future as told though the life story of one of the greatest sons of America. He championed the ideals of nobility, courage, devotion to duty, and a relentless pursuit of justice for his oppressed brethren, Black Americans. He enlarged this quality of true character by adopting a global vision for  enrichment of human life without war, poverty, and ignorance; flourishing in the absence of imperialisms, colonialism, slavery, global monopolies, and oligarchical rule of the rich with their worldwide corporate investments that benefit only a few at the expense of the many.

Free thought, free speech, and freedom from fear and intimidation from government and those in high places Du Bois demand as a human right and obtained it before the world in his opposition towards narrow minded people. No corporation, government, or strong-man, could stop his force for what is right and just. For this he was feared by the oppressors and before him evil had no place to hide.

Du Bois model for us the power of living one's calling and convictions. He set out early in his life of the mind to define the problems facing his people in order to elevate their culture, bring forth their dormant potential, and help them achieve a higher standard of living. He did this using honesty while confronting hatred and ignorance from those who claimed to have the highest level of civilization. He applied the current day's wisdom and knowledge; then he excelled it by asking critical questions about problems and developing effective solutions to the problem, which helped establish the science of sociology, challenged the current dialogue of history, and advanced pollical science. He did this all in real time, putting forth practical methods and providing sound advice for his times and for today.

One of his most practical and critical advice was directed to the coming generations to seek not after riches and status for the purpose of accumulating more and more possessions while the masses of people slip deeper and deeper into poverty. But instead he advised them to seek to learn, grow, and labor to find satisfaction in your work. And that work should be a work that is meaningful and needed by the world. This, he define as what it means to truly live- to find joy in the fact that your work has made a difference towards the betterment of the whole viruses only for the few and the individual.

Dr. Du Bois exemplifies that a heart and mind dedicated to the greater good, to justice to all, and in the defense of truth will always triumph over economic oppression, military aggression, imposes ignorance, religious hypocrisy and intolerance, the lust for gain, and the arrogance of pride. Du Bois life story echo true heroism in the face of giants who dare to challenge the God of Israel.

"And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:...Hebrews 11:32"
